Richard C. Wilcox

Richard C. Wilcox, 84, of Columbus, passed away on February 1, 2022 at Our Hospice Inpatient Facility. He was born in Michigan Center, MI on May 25, 1937 to Clark Wilcox and Florence Miller Wilcox. He married Joan Jenness on May 21, 1960 in Jackson, MI. Richard served his country proudly in the Army Reserves. He was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church and retired from ArvinMeritor. A private memorial service will be held, Saturday, February 19, 2022 at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church with Pastor Doug Bauman officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church or Our Hospice of South-Central Indiana. Survivors include his wife, Joan Wilcox; sons, Eric (Susan) Wilcox of Jeffersonville, IN, Mark Wilcox of Columbus, IN and 5 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Clark Wilcox; mother and stepfather, Florence and Donald Ives.
