Dear Donnette, Rick, Tim, Chuck, DeeDee, Cathy, Wendy, Sarah, Lynn and Carrie,
Please accept my sympathy at the loss of your husband and dad. The McGees make up some of the fond memories I have of my years teaching at St. Columba. Dick saw to it that we were always flush with gift cards, meat and cheese!
May his reward in heaven be unmatched and right and just for the good and holy life he led on earth.
My prayers are with you all,
Sr. Mary Luke

My first job was at Mcdonalds on National Rd. In Columbus in 1973. I remember Dick coming in and bringing some of his kids in and Dick and the kids would work along with us. He always had a smile on his face and was always so good to everyone. I have never forgotten the work ethic he surly instilled in his children. Even after all these years I saw him a few years ago in a restaurant and he was his usual smiling, friendly self! I thank God for his influence in my life.
Donnette and Family,
I have such great memories of Dick and you Donnette. We always had such great times at out dinners and time spent at many McDonald’s conventions over the years. I’ll never forget my wonderful friendship with him.

I was one of his employees at his McDonald’s in Franklin, IN. One of the kindest individuals that I ever met. He restored my faith in mankind in the workforce. He had a great appreciation for hard working employees and he showed us by how he rewarded us in private. He loved his children dearly also. I am honored to have met him. My condolences to his family. Earth has no sorrow that heaven can’t heal.:candle:️:candle:️:candle:️
