Robert A. "Bob" Miller May 10, 1921 - June 06, 2007 Robert A. "Bob" Miller, 86 formerly of Huntingburg and Lowell, Indiana died June 6, at Silver Oaks Health Campus in Columbus, Indiana. Mr. Miller was born May 10, 1921 in Evansville, the son Hilbert F. and Francis Miller. His parents passed away while he was a very young boy and he was raised by his Aunt, Elsie M. Robertson in Huntingburg. He was a 1939 graduate of Huntingburg High School and Indiana State Uiversity with both a B.S. and M.S. in Business Education. He taught in Rising Sun, Indiana and Lowell, Indiana where he retired in 1984. He was the head of the Business Department at Lowell High School and was also golf coach for the 'Red Devils'. He was an Army Veteran of WWII and served in the Quartermaster Corp. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed all sporting events, especially Indiana University Basketball. Mr. Miller was a member of the Methodist Church, he belonged to the Masonic Lodge, the Scottish Rite and the Shrine, along with being a member of the Moose. He was a former member of the National Education Association, Indiana State Teachers Association, Lake County Retired Teachers and was a member of the Indiana State University Alumni Association. He was married to the former Garnita B. Cox Hettenbach. She preceded him in death on January 2, 2007. He is survived by a step-grandson, Gregg Moschner of Las Vegas, Nevada and a cousin, Don Robertson of Columbus, Indiana. Funeral Information FUNERAL: Graveside services will be on Friday, June 8, 2007 at approximately 2:15 P.M. VISITATION: Friday, June 8, 2007 from 10 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. at Nass Funeral Home. BURIAL: Fairmont Cemetery in Huntingburg, Indiana Donations Information MEMORIALS: Shriners Hospitals for Children or the donor's choice of charity.
