Robert G. Burton

Robert G. Burton, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2024, in Columbus, Indiana. He was born on February 21, 1966, in Orlando, Florida, the son of William D. Burton, and Sue Carol Duncan. Robert is survived by his father; son Kyle Watkins, and his daughters, Stacy Jeffries, Jennifer Rice, and Tori Adams; a dear brother to Bill (Connie) Burton, David M. Burton, and Cindy (Jeff) Burton, Tami Lord, and Tom Farris; he was also an uncle to numerous nieces and nephews; as well as many cousins survive him. Robert was preceded in death by his mother, Sue Carol Duncan. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 15, 2024, at the Jewell–Rittman Family Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Hampton officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of funeral services. In keeping with Robert’s wishes, a cremation will follow. Robert's life was a beautiful mosaic of moments shared with family and friends, and his memory will continue to be celebrated by all who were fortunate enough to know him. His laughter will be deeply missed, but the light he brought into this world will shine on in the hearts of his loved ones forever.
