Robert L. Bell

Robert L. Bell, 68, of Hope, passed away at home on July 3, 2023. He was born on June 29, 1955 in Columbus, Indiana to James Bell and Zora Willis Bell. He was the husband to Rita Bell, and she survives him. Robert was a member of the Revival Tabernacle Church in Clifford, Indiana. His favorite thing to do was spend time with his family. He is survived by his mother, Zora Bell, of Columbus, Indiana; wife, Rita Bell; daughters, Robin (David) Jones, and Bobbie (Brett Shafer) Meyer, both of Columbus, Indiana; son, Jeremy (Erin) Crank, of Columbus, Indiana; brother, James (Teresa) Bell, of Columbus, Indiana; sister, Martha (Roy) West, of Hope, Indiana; grandchildren, Josh Bell, Zacharey Jessie, Dakota Jessie, Tyler Houchens, Marissa Meyer, Durand Meyer, Lauren Crank, and Audrey Crank; and 13 great-grandchildren. Robert was preceded in death by his father, James Bell, a grandchild, and a great-grandchild. The graveside service will be at 3:00 p.m. at Flat Rock Baptist Cemetery on Monday, July 10, 2023 with Rev. Eli Johnson officiating.
