I have many memories of my brother-in-law, Bobby. The golfing and fishing memories are the most memorable, however the family holidays and get togethers at Lake Hardy were fun times too!
One golfing memory that remains in my mind while playing with Bobby was him hitting one of the best fairway 3-woods that I had ever witnessed; he hit it straight as an arrow and it traveled about 200 yards.
We often talked about that hit wherever we were together.
A funny fishing memory was when Bobby, Albert (Bobby’s father) and I fishing at Monroe Lake. Bobby was sitting in the middle of the boat. Albert and I were catching fish about every cast; Bobby was catching none. The funny thing was is that Bobby was using the same bait and fishing at the same depth, but to no avail! Albert and I got many laughs about it over the years. Bobby didn’t think it was too funny! But the three of us did have a great time being on the water together! Bobby will be missed!
