Robert Lee "Bobby" Ott II

Robert Lee “Bobby” Ott II, 42, of Columbus, passed away September 3, 2022 in Mesa, AZ. He was born in Columbus on October 15, 1979 to Robert Lee Ott and Sherry Coons. Bobby enjoyed music and bright colors. He always had a big smile on his face, loved to make people laugh and wanted to be the life of the party. He enjoyed some sports and spending time with family and friends. Don’t stand at my grave and cry: I am not there I am with our Angels in the sky. A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, October 15, 2022, from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 816 8th St. Columbus, IN. Family and friends old and new are invited, there will be a small pitch in. Inurnment will be held at Garland Brook Cemetery at a later date. Survivors include his aunt, Teresa (Corney) Ritchie of No. Vernon, IN; father, Robert L. Ott of Columbus, IN; grandfather, Oram Ott of Columbus, IN; children, Colin Reff of Franklin, IN and Nevaeh Shipley of Columbus, IN; sister, Angie Noble of Columbus, IN; brothers, Brandon Ott of Edinburgh, IN and Tyler Ott of Columbus, IN. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Ott and Sherry Coons; grandmother, Donna Ott and grandparents Bob and Betty Hill. Arrangements were entrusted to Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home.
