  1. To Bob’s Family, I only met Bob in 2006 but had known of his reputation in FM Global. A stand-up man and one of the best engineers I have ever met. I know you are proud of him.

  2. So very sorry to hear about the passing of Bob. I worked with Bob at FM Global, and he was a terrific individual. He was always teaching, on both a professional and personal level, and made those around him better. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Pekar family.

  3. Laura my deepest sympathies to you and your family. I came to know Bob via Jim Williams and Ed Nickerson doing visits at AK Steel for FM. I really enjoyed working with him.

  4. Bob was one of the first field engineers that trained me when I started with FM Global in 1989. He was a great engineer, great mentor and a great person overall. My thoughts are with the Pekar family.

  5. As a new hire with FM I had the pleasure of being trained by Bob for a day in Dayton Ohio back in 1997. Bob learned that I played guitar so we went from FM training directly into playing some music together. We had a great time. Later Bob sent me a kind letter expressing his enjoyment with playing with me – I kept that letter. I’m glad I had the chance to know him and play music with him.
