Bob was my daughters first bus driver and first experience riding a bus as a kindergartner. Bob was always so kind to her and all the kids on the bus. A story I will never forget involves her riding the bus one winter morning. After she got on the bus and they were on their way out of the neighborhood, my daughter who always enjoyed sitting up front by Bob, mentioned to him that she forgot her hat, he asked “do you think you might need it today?” she said yea….so she showed up at the front door and I thought something was terribly wrong, she said I forgot my hat! I smiled and said “you made Bob turn the bus around to get your hat??”, she said yea and Bob did that for her, that is what kind of a man and great busdriver he was, he also came to the house when she graduated high school. Everyone loved Bob and as parents we all were grateful that Bob was driving our kids to school!
Our thoughts and prayers are with Bob’s family at this sad time.
I’m very sorry to hear of the passing of Bob. He was a wonderful man, I got the privilege of riding his bus while in school & I’ll never forget him. He was one of a kind & I’m thankful I got to spend time with him.

To all of Bob’s family we want you to know that your family are all in our prayers. Bob played a very important part in our children’s lives with being their bus driver. Bob was a very special man. We will miss him!
Bob was my bus driver and fellow member at Burnsville Christian Church. I remember him saying what fer one time so I asked him what fer, and he replied ” Cat fer to make kitten britches “.
We are so sorry to hear of Bob’s passing. We always enjoyed his conversation and his support as a neighbor. He and several other neighbors would come to our house and help with the livestock every spring. Our boys always looked forward to his visits.
