Glenn Poynter VISITATION: 4:00 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home Roeita Jean Lyle, 81, formerly of Columbus, passed away at 9:12 p.m., March 26, 2015, at Hospice of the Valley in Surprise, Arizona. Roeita was born August 6, 1933 in Columbus, Indiana the daughter of George and Isa Foist. Roeita was employed at Cummins Engine Company, Cosco and Almeyer Bakery. She enjoyed hobbies such as bowling, swimming and just swinging on her porch swing. Roeita was a very simple, loving person and enjoyed being around her family. Survivors include a son, Dennis (Sharee) Hill; daughters, Joyce A. (Revis) Underwood, Nancy L. Caldwell; sisters Janet (Raymond) Ramey, Judy (Norman) Spencer; grandchildren, 16; great grandchildren, 36; great-great grandchildren, 2. She was preceded in death by a son, James M. Hill; her parents; brothers, Max Foist, Edward Foist; sisters Peggy Rachelene West, Murial Fretenbrough, Vivian England and Kay Greenlee
