Roger Allen Stanley April 12, 1951 - February 13, 2008 Roger Allen Stanley, 56, of Columbus died at 6:03 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2008, at Brookville Healthcare Center in Brookville. Mr. Stanley was previously employed at Cummins Engine Company. Mr. Stanley had artistic talent, especially in calligraphy, and enjoyed building and collecting model trains and traveling. Born in Cayuga,IN on April 12, 1951, Mr. Stanley was the son of Bynum F. and Lucille Fowler Stanley. He was formerly married to Linda Brown. She survives. Survivors also include a daughter, Traci Stanley (Jay) Brown of Columbus; grandchildren, Brooklynne and Albani Brown; a brother, Denny (Janet) Stanley of Edinburgh; and sisters, Margaret (John) Flahive of Minooka, Ill., and Linda (Joe) Huff of Joliet, Ill. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral Information FUNERAL: 1 p.m. Tuesday at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Rev. John Sichting officiating. VISITATION: 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and from noon until service time Tuesday. BURIAL: Garland Brook Cemetery. Donations Information MEMORIALS: New Hope Christian Church.
