Roger Dale Leonard

Roger Dale Leonard, 59, of South Cherry Street, died at 5:52 p.m. June 19, 2018, at his brother’s home. Roger was born June 24, 1958, in Columbus, the son of Willie Edison and Margaret Myrtle Beasley Leonard.   He was a hard-working and loving father. The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 26, 2018, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Homewith the Rev. Gerald Hancock officiating. Calling will be from 10 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Lambert Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice of charity. Survivors include his mother, Margaret Leonard; sons, Roger Dale Leonard, Benjamin Travis Leonard and Daniel Scott Leonard, all of Columbus; a daughter, Brandy Michelle Brown of Columbus; brothers, Randall Leonard and Gary Leonard, both of Scipio, Larry Leonard of Clifford, Willie Leonard Jr. of Taylorsville, Terry Leonard, Harvey Leonard and Kendall Leonard, all of Columbus; sisters, Teresa Diane Leonard of Columbus and Anita Marie Leonard of Clifford; 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Leonard and a brother, Gregory Leonard.
