Rosa Mary Scholar May 04, 1954 - January 06, 2008 Rosa Mary (Lain) Scholar, 53, died Sunday, Jan. 6, 2007, at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. She was a resident of Franklin. Survivors include her husband, William Paul Scholar; sons, Jeff Scholar of Columbus and William Scholar Jr. of Shawano, Wis.; mother, Dorothy Mae Lain of Columbus; brother, Robert Jackson (Linda) Lain of Edinburgh; sisters, Sue Carolyn (John) Davis of Buffalo, Texas, Wanda K. Miller of Columbus, Marjorie (Ed) Robinson of Taylorsville, Marilyn Diane Myers of Edinburgh and Pauline (Jerry) Sutherlin of Columbus; and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Moses Jackson Lain; brother, Charles Moses Lain; and sisters, Melody Rose Cully and Margaret Yvonne James. Funeral Information VISITATION: Thursday, January 10, 2008 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Jewell Rittman Family Funeral Home and also Friday from noon until the time of service.
