Rosanne J. Miller

Rosanne J. Miller passed away August 22, 2020. She was born April 18, 1930 in St Paul, Minnesota. She was married to Hugh J. Miller for 62 years.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greensburg, IN for many years, was a Eucharistic Minister, a member of the Daughters of Isabella, led the Rosary with the residents of Heritage House for over 22 years, and was active in prayer groups. She was also a member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in Columbus, IN.
Her hobbies included painting (oils and water colors), crafts, making bracelets, and writing religious poetry songs.
She is survived by her daughter Kathy (Greg) Pataky, grandson Michael Colson, granddaughter Jennifer (Justin) Colson, and great grandchildren Jada, Layne and Aston Lee. She is also survived by a son-in-law Dave Cherry, granddaughters Jenny (Ryan) Burhart, Jessica (Bart) Cherry, Stephanie (Doug) Volk, and great grandchildren Nolan and Maggie Burkhart, Mariah, Rosie, Lucy and Cathleen Volk, her brother, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband Hugh Miller (2016), her daughter Colleen Cherry (2014), and her parents.
Rosanne will be missed by all those who called her Mom, Grandma, Great Grandma, sister, aunt, cousin and friend.
The family has requested no flowers and instead please make a donation to St. Jude Children's Hospital, Shriners Hospitals for Children, or to your favorite charity.
There will be a private family service due to COVID, and a Celebration of Life Mass will be held at a future date.

Dear Kathy,
Our heartfelt sympathy to you at this very difficult time.
My beautiful friend, a beautiful Angel gone home. She is whole once again and is walking those beautiful streets of gold with our heavenly father, her beloved Hugh and Colleen and all her family.
I think about her so often. She was such a wonderful and beautiful lady inside and out. She will be greatly missed.
May our Almighty God wrap his loving arms around all of you and give you peace and comfort.
