Rosemary King Lambert, 75, of Columbus, died at 10:20 p.m. February 3, 2020, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
Rosemary was born June 6, 1944, in Bloomington, the daughter of Carl and Maggie Lucas King.
She was employed over 25 years at Kramer’s Kitchen and worked at the Standard Truck Plaza for over 10 years. Rosemary loved her grandchildren and was devoted to her great-grandchildren. She loved planting flowers, shopping, travelling to Florida, and going to the casino with her sister. Rosemary especially loved spending time with her family.
The funeral will be conducted at 1p.m. Wednesday, February 12, 2020, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Pastor Robert Lay officiating. Calling will be 4 – 7 Tuesday and one hour prior to the service .
Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice of charity in memory of Rosemary.
Survivors include her son, Rex Lambert and daughter, Debbie Bozell, both of Columbus; long time companion, Alan Mullins of Columbus; brothers, David L. (Wanda) King of Elizabethtown and Ronnie (Judy) King of Columbus and sister, Linda (Harold) McIntyre) Compton of Columbus; grandchild, David Bozell of Columbus; great-grandchildren, Kady Bozell, Lilly Bozell and Aubrey Bozell; and many nieces, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Lorrie Ann Lambert; and grandchildren, Nathaniel Todd Campbell and Kyle Matthew Bozell; as well as a brother George Wayne King.
