Rosemary M. Brooks October 25, 1921 - December 05, 2009 Rosemary Margaret Brooks, 88, of North Brooks Street died at 11:49 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, 2009, at Columbus Regional Hospital. Mrs. Brooks was born in Parke County and moved to Indianapolis where she graduated from the Wishard Hospital Nursing Program. She retired as Head of Pediatrics at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville, Indiana. After her retirement she moved in with her son, John, and his family and called Columbus home, and welcomed many new friends as her family. She held a special place in her heart for Jeanette Freeman who helped with her day to day care. She loved her time with Jeanette and their special outings with Imogene and Marian. Born in Rockville Oct. 25, 1921, Mrs. Brooks was the daughter of Edwin and Mary Agnes Miller. She married Charles Frederick Brooks July 21, 1951. Survivors include sons, James (Deborah) Brooks of California, John (Pam) Brooks of Columbus, IN, Terry (Becky) Brooks of Indianapolis, IN, and Tom Brooks of California; daughters, Mary (Ray) Bunkofske of Oregon and Becky (David) Moran of Westfield, IN; grandchildren, Stewart Brooks, Carrie Brooks, Sarah (Travis) Ballman, Christopher Brooks, Amanda Brooks, Kaitlynn Brooks, Gordon Brooks, Nicholas Brooks, Nona Brooks, Alex Bunkofske, Christian Bunkofske, Thad Moran and Molly Moran; and a brother, William Miller of Georgia. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Charles on December 18, 1992; and a brother, Herman Miller.
