Russell Gale Allman December 02, 1948 - August 27, 2007 Russell Gale Allman, 58, of Road 325E died at 2:45 a.m. Monday, Aug. 27, 2007, at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. Mr. Allman was an Army veteran and recipient of the Purple Heart and a member of Faith Lutheran Church. Born in Jackson County Dec. 2, 1948, Mr. Allman was the son of Mance and Prudie Isabell Ferguson Allman. He married Regina Schooler Allman Aug. 31, 1970. Survivors include his wife; a son, Aaron Shane (Venissa) Allman of Hope; grandchildren, Asa and Azriel Allman; brothers, Jack Allman, Larry Allman and Randy Allman, all of Columbus, Leon Allman of North Vernon and Richard Allman of Seattle, Wash.; and sisters, Juanita Cockerham of Brownstown, Imogene Hammond of Elizabethtown, Phyllis Zapfe and Lois Irvin, both of Columbus and Carol Pennington of Cincinnati. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jesse and Allen Dean Allman; and a sister, Lavina Allman. Funeral Information FUNERAL: A private memorial service is planned.
