Russell R. Henney March 12, 1935 - June 19, 2010 Russell R. Henney, 75, of Fairlawn Drive, died at 5:12 a.m. Saturday, June 19, 2010, at Columbus Regional Hospital. Russell was born on March 12, 1935 in Azalia, the son of W.S. and Nellie G. Polland Henney. He married Ruth A. Kuhn Henney on July 26, 1958 and she survives. Russell retired from Cummins Engine Company after 45 years of service. He was a member of St. Johns Masonic Lodge #20, Hartsville Order of the Eastern Star #550 and the Scottish Rite Indianapolis Valley. Russell also belonged to the following Columbus York Rite Bodies: Chapter #54, Council #40 and Cammandery #14. He was a member of the First Christian Church as well. He enjoyed many activities including motor sports, basketball, football, playing bridge and computer design. Russell was a beloved husband, father, brother and friend. Russell is survived by a son, Michael S. Henney of Indianapolis; a daughter, Delores K. Henney of Indianapolis; a brother, Joseph L. Henney of Mobile, Ala.; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Jean S. Henney. Funeral Information FUNERAL: Will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Dan Wallace officiating. VISITATION: Will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today Monday immediately followed by a Masonic Memorial Service and an Order of the Eastern Star Memorial Service. Calling will also be held from 10 a.m. until service time Tuesday. BURIAL: Will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
