Sally M. Hebestreit

Sally M. Hebestreit, 70, of Columbus, passed away at 12:18 a.m., Monday May 6, 2019, at Columbus Regional Hosptial. Sally was born October 29, 1948 in Muncie, Indiana, the daughter of Haskel and Barbara Runyon Criswell.  Sally attended Northview Assembly of God church where she was very active in several activities. She had a very generous and giving heart, always willing to help anyone who needed it. Sally loved her family, especially spending time with her children and grandchildren. The funeral will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at Jewell – Rittman Family Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Burton officiating. Calling will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of services Wednesday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery. Survivors include her sons Rob S. (Melissa) Hebestreit of Columbus and Randy S. (Sherri) Hebestreit of Gaston, Indiana; grandchildren Cody Bauerle, Lindsey Hebestreit, Cheyenne Hampshire, Jared, Dylan, Derek, and Mason Hebestreit; great-grandchildren Brennon, Kadence, Camden, and Haisley; sisters Nancy Imel, Jean (Charlie) McKinley, and Tammy Criswell all of Muncie; honorary daughters Laura, Kathie, Keri, and Kriss Mason; as well as best friends Roz Williams and Becky Moates. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother Kenny Criswell.
