Sandy, You were the one constant through out my life. So hard to believe you are gone. I always looked up to you, you were my big sister. Often times my protector. From playground bullies to sometimes our parents. We went through so many things together. Seamed so many times, it was we three sisters against the world. You were the little mother from so young. Cooking meals and cleaning house. Often times isolated from people your on age. I know you had to be lonely with two young sisters and no one your age.
I remember so much, Dear Sister. How you sacrificed for us. We never really got to be just kids. Even after you had married, you still had to take us in time and again. Did I forget to say, “Thank you.”? Or how much I loved you?
I keep it all written in my heart how much you went through. The trials you endured. Every tragedy. Every sadness.
I know you were tired. It would be selfish of me to keep you here. When I know there is someone very special waiting for you to join him. You are reunited now with husband and son.
I hope there is a family reunion going on. A banquet of home cooking, love and laughter. I picture you all gathered there and take comfort in knowing you’re waiting. Until we meet again…..
With love
Janet
