Sarah Marjorie Hancock November 11, 1913 - May 27, 2008 Sarah Marjorie Hancock, 94, of Columbus died at 11:38 p.m. Tuesday, May 27, 2008, at Homeview Center in Franklin. Mrs. Hancock was a member of First United Methodist Church, Miriam Circle, Modern Matrons Home Economics Club and Pilot Club, a service club for women in Lafayette. She retired in 1978 from Purdue University. Born in Johnson County Nov. 11, 1913, Mrs. Hancock was the daughter of John D. and Sarah Jane Wilkerson Mitchell. She married Mervin L. Hancock, May 22, 1937. Surviving are sons, David M. (Sande) Hancock of Evansville and Steven M. (Myra) Hancock of Wichita, Kan.; daughters, Lizabeth Sue (Bill) Farrar of Panama City, Fla., Marilnn L. (John) Rondot of Edinburgh and Linda A. (Jim) Mallory of Estero, Fla.; grandchildren, Bill, Eric and Marci Farrar, Jason and Damon Hancock, Laura Baker, Angela Riffert, Troy, Trent and Travis Rondot, Tonya Fenimore, Staci Graffia and Steven Mallory; and great-grandchildren, Kelly and Kirstin Farrar, Dane Hancock, Ashley Elpers, Wyatt Rondot, Sarah Cardoza, Ryanne and Ross Fenimore, Casi and Jordan Rondot, Shealyn, Shanna and Mitch Rondot, Brianna Graffia, Anthony Graffia III, Stephanie Mallory and John, Aaron and Jessie Clum. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in June 1963; grandchildren, Kimberly Hancock and Benjamin Farrar; three brothers; and five sisters. Funeral Information FUNERAL: There will be no funeral service. VISITATION: Sunday, June 1, 2008 from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the Jewell - Rittman Family Funeral Home. BURIAL: Forest Lawn Cemetery in Greenwood, Indiana.
