Savonna Sue Hiten August 02, 1946 - June 02, 2006 Savonna Sue Hiten, 59, of Jonesville, died at 10:45 a.m. Friday, June 2, 2006 at Silver Oaks Health Campus in Columbus. Mrs. Hiten was a manager at Tobacco Road in Walesboro on Indiana 58 for 10 years and a manager at the former downtown Hardees for seven years. Savonna was a member of Lowell General Baptist Church and Free Church of God Pentecost. She was an avid George Strait fan and loved horses, fishing and spending time with her family and children. Mrs. Hiten was born August 2, 1946, the daughter of Dean L. and Marie Palmer Macy. She married Daniel Hiten on May 18, 1963. Survivors include her husband; a son, Kevin Hiten of Bartholomew County; daughters, Kimberly Staley and Angela Gale Shepherd, both of Columbus, Paula Durham of Michigan, Cheryl Baldwin and Deneill Hiten, both of Jonesville; sisters, Cookie Macy, Sheila Grosheart and Lisa Butler; brothers, Larry Starr, Richard Macy and Roger Macy; grandchildren, Dustin, Andrew and Joseph Hiten, Samantha Staley, Melinda, Jeramy and Joshua Durham, Nathan, Justin and Brandon Shepherd and Derek and Makayla Baldwin; and greatgrandchildren, Jacob, Jaydon and Bethany. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Joseph D. Macy; a nephew, Ged Douglas; nieces, Heather Macy and Thelma Dean Starr; and a brotherinlaw, Robert Thompson. Funeral Information VISITATION: Will be Sunday June 4, 2006 from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m. and on Monday June 5, 2006 from noon until the time of services.
