Sharon Lee Thompson, a caring and selfless soul, aged 73, completed her earthly journey on October 4, 2024, in Columbus, Indiana. Born on September 28, 1951, the daughter of Everett and Raegene Scrogham, she graced this world with her loving presence and remained a constant source of kindness within her community.
Sharon's life was distinguished by her unwavering dedication to her family and her passionate involvement in the home healthcare industry, where she served as a devoted caregiver. Through her work, she touched the lives of many, offering comfort and compassion to those in need.
She leaves behind her cherished daughter, Dayna D. (Stacey L. Harsh) Thompson and her son, Andrew T. (Lyndsey) Thompson who were her pride and joy. Sharon's sisters, Beverly (Tim) Moore, Stacie (Brian) Wheatley, along with her brother Terry Scrogham, will fondly remember her infinite warmth and the sisterly bond they shared. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Donna Lee and her brother, Larry Scrogham.
Sharon took immense pleasure in the simple joys of life, such as beautifying her home, tending to her lawn, and nurturing her flower garden. Her adoration for her grandsons, Andrew Nikalas, Everett, and Owen Thompson, knew no bounds; they were the light of her life.
Her nieces, nephews, and countless friends will remember her as the epitome of love and kindness. Sharon's legacy will continue to inspire those who knew her, as she lived a life defined by giving, connection, and unwavering love. Her departure has left a void, but her memory will forever remain as a beacon of the altruistic spirit she embodied every day.
