Shawn Norman Mikesell, 38, of Nineveh, died at 12:28 a.m. September 15, 2019, at his home.
Shawn was born July 9, 1981, in Indianapolis, the son of Norman K. and Trina Dian Spencer Mikesell.
He loved music, could fix anything and especially enjoyed helping others.
A time of visitation will be held for friends and family 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, September 21, 2019, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home.
Survivors include his mother, Trina Dian Mikesell of Trafalgar; companion, Jessica Marie Wagers of Brown County; and his son, Elijah Wagers.
He was preceded in death by his father, Norman K. Mikesell and a brother, Carl William Mikesell.

Shawn you will be missed. Your memories will always be in my heart. I have good memories of when you and your cousins played together as kids especially Chris you two were close growing up.love you your Aunt Cindy.
Shawn, will be missed by all your family and friends. You were so handy of doing things and helping others when they needed help. If u didn’t know how to do something you never gave up. But God had other plans for you. You are now reuniting with your dad, brother and grand partner.

Shawn was a good man, he will be missed but never forgotten, prayers for his loved ones.

Shawn was so good to my husband and I over the years. He was always willing to help us fix things around the house. He was able to figure out how to fix almost anything and enjoyed the challenge of doing so. He had a kind heart and was not afraid to show it to those he cared about. We will miss his kindness in a world that doesn’t have enough people like him. May he rest in peace. Jim and Bonnie Hammond
