  1. Shawn wasn’t only an uncle he was like a big brother. He made the best volcanos out of a little Dixie cup some water and a Alka seltzer tablet when we were kids. Live to Juanita and the boys. You know they only walk with us for a little while but they stay with us forever. Love you shawn

  2. Shawn was such a calm, kind man. I will never forget the time I spent at Shawn and Kyle’s home as the boys were growing up. Their boys learned the power of a strong work ethic from their father. He will be greatly missed. He also helped me overcome my fear of snakes with his pet boa constrictor, Fred. Praying for you all during this time of sorrow. Much Love, Michelle

  3. So very sorry for your loss. Shawn must have been a good guy, Leroy talked about him and liked him. I’m sure the two of them are telling stories already. Peace and comfort for all of you.

  4. I enjoyed working with Shawn for several years. We were friends and he will be greatly missed. My condolences to all his family.

  5. An honorable man of God who loved his family well. What beautiful comfort his family & friends have knowing he fell asleep this side of heaven and woke up seeing the face of Jesus.

  6. I thought Shawn was a man of few words but he was always on target when he let you have them. He had an awesome laugh too. I always enjoyed his sense of humor and watching him around any of his boys. Shawn was always kind to me and treated me like a brother. I respected him and the way he cared for his family. He will be missed. Prayers for his family. May he Rest In Peace until we meet again.

  7. So many memories of Shawn shared in our neighborhood and School, and 20 plus years working together at Hartup Tool. Shawn was a Character, a hard worker , a great Father, and a good friend. RIP

  8. My heartfelt condolences to Juanita and Shawn’s family. I didn’t know him well but the few times I was with he and Juanita, I could see the love they shared with one another.
