Sherry Dianne Kendall

Sherry Dianne Kendall, 75 of Columbus, Indiana left this life on Saturday, April 25th at Columbus Regional Hospital surrounded by family.

She was born on her mother’s birthday, August 3rd, 1950 at Warren General Hospital, PA. It was her honor to be the youngest child of Robert and Mabel Perrin.

Sherry thoroughly enjoyed her career as an over the road truck driver. She was an avid gardener and used her green thumb to grow many beautiful house plants. Artwork was her favorite pastime. She loved creating art throughout her entire life, from oil painting and diamondart to beaded jewelry plus everything in between. She loved showing her creations to everyone who stopped by to see her

Sherry is survived by her daughter Carrie (David) Schoonover of Columbus, IN; her sister Norma (Ken) Teats of Russell, PA; her grandchildren Samantha Thompson, Chris Schoonover, Eric (Macy) Schoonover, Rachel (Brandon) Reiblich, Nicole (Wayne) Kimberlin, Kimberly (Terrell) Davis of Indiana and Autumn Gruber of New York; her great grandchildren Trinity Smith, LeAndra, Jailey, Noah, Italyn and Elara Schoonover, Brysun Bowman, Clayton, Michael, Roselynn, and Elizbeth Kimberlin; and dozens of nieces and nephews

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son Travis Gruber, her brothers Ronald, Donald, Robert and Jack Perrin, her sisters Patricia Robinault, Miriam Sliter, Carol Brin

The legacy she leaves behind is not the beautiful artwork she created but the love she bestowed on her family and friends everyday of her life. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

The funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. in the Jewell – Rittman Funeral Service & Crematory, with visitation there from 9 a.m. Cremation will follow at the Bartholomew County Crematory.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the family to help with her final expenses.
