  1. sending my love and prayers in this time of grief. May the lord welcome Shirl into his open arms and guide the family through this rough time. God bless ~Mandy~

  2. I hold many good memories of “Doodles”. Shirl was always such a good person. Never a dull moment when she was around. Doodles was such a strong woman. Will be miss by many. RIP Doodles. Enjoy your time now with your dad.

  3. Our hearts go out to all of you. She always had a smile no matter what. She was a wonderful person.

  4. Shirl you were always a fun and loving person, we will miss you. Bob, Whitney, and Shelby may your hurts heal with time, and may your memories be great ones. Love you all and keeping you all in our prayers.

  5. Our thoughts and prayers are with you always. Shirl touched many peoples lives along her journey and she will continue to watch over each and everyone of you from heaven. Her memory will live forever in our hearts.

  6. I’ll always remember you as dootles! We use to be neighbors when were little girls. We always went fishing & swimming together with our parents when we lived down that big long lane. Behind where Chevron use to be on St.Rd. 58. Even though we grew up & went our separate ways, we were always friends! As the yrs. went by we always came back together as if we never ever apart! We were what you call life long buddies or sisters! I’m so glad that we had the time together, to talk of Gods love for us! Yes Sister, “He still sits on the throne!” As you would say. But today, I would like to think that He has thrown you one heck of a welcome home party, and oh what joy that must be! To dance on those streets of gold that He paved for you & for me! You always gave your all in what you stood for and that’s what I will always remember about you! You were one true fighter who never gave up! Oh what a time you must be having, I can just see the smile on our Saviors face as he welcomed you in those big pearly gates! This is not goodbye Sis, I’ll be seeing you again! Save me a seat at that big banquet hall. When it’s my time to see you once again! Love ya always!!! Your friend Vickie
