Northrop, 65, of Breckenridge Dr, died at 4:25 p.m. May 22, 2014, at Brown County Health & Living Community. Stephen was born August 13, 1948 in Murphysboro, Illinois, the son of Stewert E. and Margaret Simpson Northrop. He married Patricia A. Brill July 8, 1978. Stephen retired from Cummins Engine Company after 30 years of service. He was a lay minister and enjoyed singing and spreading the gospel. He also enjoyed visiting coffee shops. Survivors include his wife; daughter, Julie Zamarripa of Indianapolis; and two grandchildren, Brandon and Joshua Zamarripa. He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, Paul E., David E. and Mark Northrop.
