Steven E. Adam
October 9, 1962 ~ July 21, 2024
Steven E. Adam, a cherished source of love and joy, sadly departed this life on July 21, 2024, at the age of 61. Born on October 9, 1962, in Greenfield, Indiana, he was the son of Leslie E. and Flouella Thorpe Adam.
Steven's journey through life took him to the peaceful town of Columbus, Indiana, Although his parents as well as his son, Daniel Steven Adam, preceded him in death, his legacy continues through his daughter, Karen Diane (RJ Hunter) Adam of Ingalls, Indiana, and his beloved grandchildren, Zoe and Zya Hunter.
His life was enriched by the companionship of his brothers, David (Audrey) Adam of Breaman, Indiana, and Gregory (Robin Roberts) Adam of Columbus, Indiana. His sister, Teresa (Michael) Robinette, also of Columbus, further added to his joy, as did his nieces, Oliva and Nicole Adam, and nephew, Michael A. Robinette. Steven's steadfast friend and loyal dog, Max, remained a cherished confidant throughout his life.
A man who found tranquility in nature and the simple pleasure of a song, Steven's world was a better place for his passion for music and the peaceful moments spent with Max by his side, exploring the serene beauty of rivers and natural landscapes.
In keeping with Steven’s wishes, cremation is planned. The Jewell–Rittman Family Funeral Home is serving the family.
Steven will be remembered as unwaveringly loving, a person who embodied the essence of kindness. As Mahatma Gandhi once said, "Where there is love there is life," and Steven's life was a profound embodiment of this truth. His memory will forever resonate in the hearts of those who loved him.
