Steven E. Coles, 68, of North Vernon, died at 4:45 p.m. Friday, April 20, 2012, at his home. Mr. Coles was a journeyman lineman for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Union. He was a charitable individual who helped those around him in need. He loved to travel. His hobby was woodworking. Born in Jackson County July 18, 1943, Mr. Coles was the son of Paul E. and Mary Pauline Rogers Coles. Mr. Coles is survived by his father, of Columbus; a son, Steve Coles of Columbus; a daughter, Suzette Coles of Columbus; sisters, Jo (Pat) Garrett of Seymour and Mary (Mark) Weichman of Columbus; two grandchildren, Kylie Chasse and Zach McKinney; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother. MEMORIAL SERVICES: 1:00 p.m. Saturday April 28, 2012 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home OFFICIATING CLERGY: Rev.
