Steve was such a kind man. I knew him from Hauser and he always had a smile on this face while doing his job. He will be greatly missed.
Spent many hours sitting by the pool in Panama City beach talking , telling stories , laughing and just enjoying the sunshine . He will always be remembered by us as a good man who always had a big smile , and a cold beer if you needed it. Was a really good man.

I was in shock this morning and saw his name in the obituaries. Steve was one of my closest friends back in 1956. He lived on Morningside Drive, I lived one street over to the west, on what is known now as McClure Road. I’d see Steve and his brother, Mark, almost every day. I hadn’t seen Steve for quite a number of years. Our family moved away and I lost contact with Steve. I later go on to the U.S. Air Force and it seems I lost contact with all my good friends over those years…I never forgot him…I spent hours at his house. Steve and I were a lot alike. We had the same interests. He was a great artist, we both liked sports. He had such a great attitude.
We are here on earth for such a short time. We don’t realize that until we get to our golden years…God gave me wonderful friends. My memories rush to me now and I can recall so many great times we had. What a wonderful family. I’m a better person because of Steve, Mark, and their parents. We all want to come from a family like that. I am so sad…He was like my brother…A little bit of me died today.

I worked with Steve at NTN. Always enjoyed shooting the bull with him, he was very entertaining. Was also lucky enough to play a few rounds of golf with Steve as well. Rest easy my friend. Prayers to his family.
