Sue was born September 6, 1944, in Columbus, the daughter of Paul E. and Ann L. Mark Campbell. She married Dennis K. Palmer August 31, 1973. She retired from the local banking community and loved being outdoors in the spring and summer with her flowers. She enjoyed making family photo albums and loved puppies, dogs, babies and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed talking to people in general and talking on the phone to her friends. The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 6, 2018, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Pastor Wes Jones officiating. Calling will be from 4-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service. A private burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Bartholomew County Humane Society. Survivors include her husband, Dennis; daughters, Lisa Turner of Bloomington and Kathy (Tim) Holwager of Columbus; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Chris (Bobbi) Palmer and Teresa (Tom) LaFerney, both of Wabash, Indiana. Her grandchildren include Shanna Martin, Tyler Hannah, Courtney Turner, Macy Hannah and Connor Hannah; great-grandchildren, Rylan Green, Arissa Green, Mason Green, Kylee Martin, Gatlin Martin, Cheylei Martin and Paisley Hannah; and aunts, Mary Scheidt of Atlanta, Georgia, and Sally Campbell of Columbus. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Marvin Campbell; and a great-grandson, Bennett Martin.






Sorry to hear of Sue’s passing. We did not see each other as often as we would have liked, but I am sure going to miss the best sister in law ever. I know she is making people laugh right now, with her special wit and humor. Sue I Love You
Sue was my dear friend and I am going to miss her terribly. She was always there to listen and to share a laugh.

Seems like only yesterday,Sue would Drop into Goodyear for car repairs. Great person. Will miss her.
