SERVICES: 4:00 p.m. Sunday October 18, 2015 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church-Clifty OFFICIATING CLERGY: Pastor Douglas Bauman FINAL RESTING PLACE: St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery-Clifty VISITATION: 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the church MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS: Making Missions Possible or a charity of the donor's choice Taletha Arnholt, 92, of Seymour, formerly of Columbus, died at 8:31 a.m. Thursday, October 15, 2015, at Lutheran Community Home in Seymour. Taletha was born May 26, 1923, in Jonesville, the daughter of Albert J. and Emma VonFange Welmer. She married Carl E. Arnholt April 11, 1948. He preceded her in death June 19, 1985. Taletha was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church at Clifty, where she was a member of Tri-W Society and Ladies Aid. After her husband's passing in 1985, Taletha and her sister Marietha moved into a duplex at Lutheran Community Home where they were involved in the Immanuel Guild. She loved to read and cook. Taletha was previously employed by Bartholomew County School Corporation as a cafeteria worker and she retired from Brand's Lumber in 2000. Survivors include her daughter, Gayla (Mike) Alesandro of Columbus; sister, Marietha Enzinger of Seymour; sister-in-law, Lil Christopher of Seymour; nieces, Veda (Ron) Eddy of The Villages, Florida, Carla (Richard) Sekula of Indianapolis, Linda (Colin) Scheidt of Columbus, and Gina (Mark) Zimmerer of Sandy, Utah; and a nephew, Fred (Debbie) Christopher of Muncie. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl E. Arnholt; her parents, Albert J. and Emma VonFange Welmer; and a brother, Otho Welmer.
