Terry J. Wilson

Terry J. Wilson, 70, of Akron, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, November 21, 2025, with is family by his side. He was born June 27, 1955, in Columbus, Indiana to the late James and Laverne (nee Byrd) Wilson. He was a resident of Columbus, Indiana until his family re-located to Akron, Ohio in 1996. Terry loved to fish, playing the ESO role playing video game, chatting with his online friends and Mt. Dew. He was preceded in death by his parents; beloved wife, Paula (nee Brown) Wilson; sister, Theresa and brother, Steve. He is survived by his son, Daniel (Brittany) Wilson; daughter, Christy (Scott) Weisner; brother, Chris (Laurel) Wilson; grandchildren, Tyler Wilson, Ashley Wilson, Jaion Gordon, Geonie Gordon, Kayla Ratliff, Jamiah Jackson, Jermani Jackson, Lennix Wilson and Gio Wilson; great granddaughter, Xolani King. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home in Columbus, Indiana with Pastor Virgil Clotfelter officiating the service. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday, as well. He will be entombed at 1:00 p.m. at the Garland Brook Cemetery Mausoleum.
