I cherish every one of the many memories I have of Aunt Theresa!! Her beautiful smile always lit up the room, and she was truly the life of the party! lol Everyone who ever met her loved her and wanted to spend time with her! I loved spending the night at the Hilltop Apartments in Anderson and spending a few weeks in the summers on Scott Airforce Base in Illinois! Those are some of my happiest childhood memories!! So many beautiful memories! I think what stood out more than anything with Aunt Theresa was her kind heart and that beautiful smile that could light up a room!

Theresa and I grew up in Meadowborook and went to school together. Many memories pop up about our younger days. The first one that popped in my mind was how we always remembered how to spell her name…”There sa”. We called her that almost as much as we said it the correct way. Walking to St. Ambrose. Stopping at Frazier’s Dairy Maid. Good times. I am so glad she is at peace, but very sad that another good friend has passed. May she rest in Peace. I will always remember her.

I remember she had the nickname in high school, Tee-Wee😁 she always had a smile even when I kissed her during school. She and Carl and I and the ex played a lot of cards and games and I think we took a small trip in Carl’s Karmen Gaia, not sure about the spelling of that car but it was a hoot. We lost touch with each other but I always asked about her with Cathy, Mike, and Sonny😁
Kissed her should have been kidded her🙄

Hi girl, 2 years ago, you told me you weren’t sure whether you wanted to go on living and we cried together. I know you held on this long for all of us. I couldn’t call you because I was afraid you would tell me that you only had so much longer to go. I thought of you every single day as we played “word feud”. I would freak out if you missed a day. Then you weren’t as good at the game as you used to be and I worried some more. After you were gone, I found out Carl had been playing for you. He is getting better though 🙂and I hope he continues to play me. We had some good times at Spangdahlem AFB! When you guys first invited us over for dinner and Vernon and I were wondering what in the world we would have in common with you and Carl since you had two girls and were 10 years older than us. But we hit it off. How we all loved playing pinocle! You and I cheating, Vernon getting mad and Carl scolding you, but secretly loving it. We had a lot of your good cooking and I’m still making biscuits and gravy the way you taught me. We did love our German white wine back then and enjoyed a few wine probing trips with Carl as our designated driver. I was so sad when you guys left Germany.
When we left Germany, how happy I was to find out we would be stationed at s base only 4 hours from the base you guys were at. We loved visiting you at Charleston and spending time at the beach
Now, here it is 48 years later and we are still friends. The time I’ve spent with you and Carl has been the best of times. I will always treasure them. I will miss your sense of humor, that devilish smile, and your pure goodness. You inspired me and I felt like a better person just being around you. I love you so much and will miss you more than I can imagine.
