I didn’t really know Tom well until 3 years ago when we started Torah Bible study. We shared prayers great food and the continued need to learn more about the Lord. He loved to eat and we would send home many leftovers for him to enjoy another day. Tom loved family and was surrounded by lots of grandchildren who adored him. We prayed so hard as a church for him to recover we even called him on the phone while he was in the hospital and the whole church sang Happy Birthday to him. There will be an empty pew and seat at our Torah study that will remind us all of how blessed we were to call him our brother. Rest In Peace my brother many tears have been shed you’ll be forever missed and memories cherished ♥️✝️️♥️

I’m sorry I can’t be with you Saturday.
Tom and I shared a fun childhood together. We cousins were always dressed up for Halloween by the talent of Annabell. The Harris cousins won the contest many times!!! I send my love and prayers to Brian, Tim and Kelly.

My schedule does not allow me to attend the funeral. When I get to heaven I look forward to seeing Jesus & saints of old, kinfolks & saints that I’ve worked with in churches over the past 70 years. That certainly would include Tom & Susan Allen. University of Kentucky? Bettye’s aunt was on the women’s varsity basketball team at UK in 1902-03!
Blessings. –Wally & Bettye Jeffs

Tom was my uncle and was always supportive of me when I was a kid. One summer I helped him build his architectural drafting table before he went off to college. My father
had also had a great relationship with Tom tuning in to Tom’s carpentry and woodworking skills and interest. My father was was a carpenter as well Tom’s grandfather. His aptitudes in architecture and wood crafting were in his blood.
My condolences to Susan and the children.
Sincerely,
Rich Allen
