Thomas was born January 26, 1952, in Columbus, the son of Carl Morton and Juanita Anderson Hern. He married Rhonda Davidson May 16, 1992. He was employed at Dolly Madison Bakery for 37 years before retiring in 2012. Survivors include his wife, Rhonda; daughter, Heather M. Hern of Seymour; and a grandson, Nicholas C.J. Perez. He was preceded in death by his parents.
