I had the honor and privilege of working with Tim at the Indiana Department of Labor, Indiana Attorney General’s office, and when he was counsel to the Indiana Department of Administration. He was a terrific mentor, co-worker, and friend. I have spoken with many former co-workers of his today and they are all devastated at the news of his passing. He had a major and overwhelmingly positive impact on state government and the people he encountered there. He is greatly missed. My deepest sympathy to Mary Ann, his daughters, their husbands, and his grandchildren. If you wanted to get Tim to smile, all you had to do was ask about his family. Peace be with you, my friend. If Heaven is a truly happy place, I’ll get to work with you on a project there after I arrive.

I was fortunate to meet Tim when he served as an adjunct teaching Business Law. He was a great teacher and really sparked my interest in the legal system. While I haven’t seen him in years, he made a great impression on me and I still have fond memories of that class. Great guy and I extend my condolences to his friends and family as I am sure he will be greatly missed.

An accomplished and kind person, Tim always brought joy and a good laugh to his fellow classmates. He is someone who will not be forgotten.
I just watched video. What a wonderful life he had
I have known Tim since we were both kids. We played basketball, ran relays and participated in other activities provided by the YMCA on Saturday mornings. We also played football together in High School. He was always kind and respectful to me. We talked and shared memories at my class reunion 10 years ago at Bridgewater Country Club. He will be missed by all who knew him and I would like to express my deepest sympathy to the entire family. Barry Ochstein – Lake Suzy, Florida – Class of 1966
