December 2, 1987 ~ June 21, 2024

Timothy David Roberts, 36, of Columbus, passed away on June 21, 2024. Tim was born December 2, 1987, in Columbus, the son of Tim Roberts and Robin Roberts. Tim was larger than life and he never met a stranger! He enjoyed exploring new places and learning new things. He loved welding, fishing, working out, and sleeping in. Some of his favorite things included ice cream, sunsets, and Disney movies, along with shopping, his shoe collection, and music of all kinds. He had a unique perspective on the world that came from his past experiences. Tim rooted for the underdog because he felt he could relate. He was a selfless, gentle soul and he tried to help people when he could. Tim was an optimist and had so much hope for the future despite his struggles. He taught many people to think twice before judging another. Tim is at peace now, and his loss is profound for all who knew him. "Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no greater commandment." Mark 12:31 He is survived by his mother, Robin (Greg Adam) Roberts; father and best friend, Tim Roberts; brother, Ryan (Bailey Smith) Roberts; his person, Sarah Warfield; step-children, aunts and uncles, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Elena Ann Howell; his brother, Cody Roberts, and a cousin, Jeff Hart. Those wishing may make memorial donations through the funeral home to Alliance for Substance Abuse Program, otherwise known as ASAP. Visitation will be from 3:00 until 6:00 p.m. on Friday, June 28, 2024, at the Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home.
