Timothy E. Crossland, 60, of North National Road, died Monday, May 16, 2016, at his home. Timothy was born January 4, 1956, in Columbus, the son of Samuel A. and Reta I. Richey Crossland. He married Ruth Marie Lewallen April 8, 2003. Timothy retired from Kroger in January 2016 after 44 years of service. He enjoyed flying model airplanes. Memorial contributions may be made to Bartholomew County Humane Society through Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home. Survivors include his wife, Ruth; stepdaughters, Karen (Casey) Matern and Robin (J.R.) Owen, both of Columbus; brother, Terry (Linda) Crossland of Columbus; and five stepgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Seth Crossland.
