Timothy L. Fields, 66, of Columbus, died Monday, May 27, 2019, at his home. Tim was born December 20, 1952, in Columbus, the son of Hubert P. and Irene Bryant Fields. He married Dorothy M. Garris-Fields. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at Vernon Cemetery, Vernon, Indiana with Rev. Tony Garris officiating. Military honors will be presented by the Jennings County Veterans Honor Guard. Survivors include daughter, Amanda Ferguson of Shelbyville,IN; and brother, David (Fran Calderon) Fields of Fishers and sisters, Sue D. Harshman of Columbus, Brenda Thompson of Columbus, Kathy (Roger) Southern of Columbus, Robin (John) Greulich of Deltona, Florida and Chrystal Baker of Columbus. He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; and brother, Hubert Wayne Fields.

Hello Sue, Crystal, Robin,You won’t remember me but I worked with you at Holiday Inn in Columbus, Indiana. I knew your Mother Irene and I am so sorry for your loss. God’s Blessings to you and your family members.
Judy told me about “Timmy” passing. We are all sorry to hear about it and wanted you all to know we are thinking about you. It’s been ages, but I remember when I’d hang out with Robin as kids and all of you guys. Fond memories. Take care and know we send our sympathy to all of you. My heart goes out to Kathy, Robin, Crystal and all family members. Tim was such a good-hearted guy. I often think about when he came over and just hung out.
