Thursday at the funeral home MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS: Bartholomew County Humane Society or Columbus Animal Shelter Virgil B. Walls, 58, of Cherry St, died at 4:33 a.m. Tuesday, August 19, 2014, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. Virgil was born November 14, 1955 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of Chester and Garnett Marie Breshears Walls. He married Rosie Marie Hensley-Walls August 1980. Virgil enjoyed fishing and watching wrestling. He loved all animals. Virgil loved spending time with the special people in his life, especially his family and friends. The funeral will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, August 21, 2014 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Pastor Teresa Terrel officiating. Calling will be from 4:00 p.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to help with Virgil's funeral arrangements. Survivors include his brothers, J.R. (Alma) Walls of Columbus, Alvin Louis "Butch" Walls of Brown County and Dean (Rhonda) Walls of Brown County; sisters, Betty (Joe) Donaldson of Ireland and Margaret (Ruel) Oaks of Russell Springs, Kentucky; and nieces and nephews, Debbie Perez, Charlie Walls, Dean Walls, Kim Bergeron, Trad Walls, Mark Walls, Jason Walls, Nicholas Walls, Hannah Watts as well as many other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife,Rosie Marie Hensley-Walls; and parents, Chester and Garnett Walls.
