"Jenny" Prather, 62, of Waycross Drive, died at 3:05 p.m. Wednesday, October 28, 2015, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. Virginia was born January 18, 1953 in Letcher County, Kentucky, the daughter of Harold and Mattie Day Stamper. Virginia was previously employed at Sap's Bakery, Kroger and Wal-Mart. She enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family. Survivors include her daughters, Teresa (Scott) Nickerson and Shannon Prather, both of Columbus; brothers, David (Becky) Stamper of Seymour, Jon (Juli) Stamper of Ohio, and Rodney (Sirena) Stamper of Columbus; sisters, Betty (Cecil) Caudill of Seymour, Mary (David) Manley of Columbus, and Judy Stamper of Seymour; brother-in-law, Raymond Cornett of Spraytown; and grandchildren, Dylan Prather, Alexis Bannister, and Shelby, Ethan and Mara Nickerson. She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant brother, George Stamper; and a sister, Sandra Cornett.
