Vivian "Vicki" McGuire Walls

Vivian “Vicki” McGuire Walls, 86, of Columbus, died at 5:00 a.m. Saturday, April 27, 2024 at home.
Vicki was born on July 29, 1937, the daughter of Leonard and Doris Fields. She married Charles K. Walls who preceded her in death.
Vicki owned and operated “Vicki’s Place for over 50 years. She also worked at Cummins Engine Co. She enjoyed being in a bowling league for over 40 years. The most important thing in her life was her family. She will be greatly missed by many.
The funeral will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 3, 2024, at Jewell Rittman Family Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Newlin officiating. Calling hours will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Entombment will take place in Garland Brook Mausoleum.
Memorials may be made to Jewell Rittman Family Funeral Home to help with final expenses.
Survivors include a son, Shawn (Sherry) McGuire, of Columbus; daughters, Teresa Clarkson, of Columbus, Terri A. (Shannon) Lackey, of Columbus, Rene T. (Richard) Hamilton, of Columbus; sister, Deborah Russell, of Columbus; 20 grandchildren and 48 great-grandchildren, and 28 great, great, grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband; a daughter, Doris R. Wilson; a sister, Fern Neville; brothers, Paul R. Miller, and George D. Longworth; and grandchildren, Tyler Ent, and Vicki Helblig.
Services were entrusted to the Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home.






My name is Tina and Vicky gave me my first haircut 40 years ago. She also gave all my kids their first haircuts. Frank and Vicky were our neighbors on Ohio street 40 years ago. They were wonderful people Vicky will be missed by my family. Rest in Peace.

Vicki will be greatly missed!! My grandma Bessie Greathouse used to get her hair done from her for years.. I used to go with her all the time as a kid.. and we had the great honor of Vicki doing her hair even for her funeral we are forever grateful to her and grateful that we had the honor of knowing such an amazing person!!
