Wanda L. Henderson

Wanda L. Henderson, 90, of Central Avenue, died at 2:55 a.m. November 21, 2019, at Willow Crossing Health and Rehabilitation Center. Wanda was born March 7, 1929, in Columbus, the daughter of Gerald B. and Pearl A. DeVille Truitt. She married Willard Henderson July 20, 1957, and he preceded her in death February 25, 2016. She attended First Christian Church and was a 50 year member of Order of Eastern star # 339. Wanda was administrative assistant to J. Irwin Miller from 1947 to 1989. The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, November 23, 2019, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home.Calling will be 11 a.m. until time of service Saturday. Burial will follow at Garland Brook Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the donor’s choice of charity. Survivors include her sisters, Mary A. Secrest of Shelbyville and Valura A. Truitt of Columbus; and a niece, Leanne M. Secrest of Shelbyville. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Willard.
