Wanda L. Vincent, 79, of Arapahoe Trail, died at 1:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. Wanda attended Edinburgh Separate Baptist Church. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting, and loved collecting porcelain dolls. She and her husband were avid campers. She loved all dogs, but especially her dog Meggie. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Always setting a good example of how to live and love, Wanda?s family was the most important thing in her life. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, Feb. 15, 1933, Mrs. Vincent was the daughter of Albert and Odetta Clements Bailey. She married the love of her life, Charles B. "Chuck" Vincent Sept. 13, 1951, in Muehlenberg County, Ky. He preceded her in death May 23, 2010. She is survived by sons, Stephen Wayne Vincent of Taylorsville, Indiana, and Daniel (Christina) Vincent of Shelbyville, Indiana; daughters, Donna (Ron) Trowbridge of Taylorsville, Indiana, and Janie (Tony) Burton of Columbus, Indiana; a daughter-in-law, Shirley Vincent of Taylorsville, Indiana; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; a half brother; and three half sisters. Wanda was looking forward to meeting her unborn seventh great-grandchild in the coming months. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a son, Charles R. Vincent; a daughter-in-law, Beverly Vincent; and a sister, Patricia. FUNERAL: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 26, 2012 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Elder Dan Ledwinka officiating. VISITATION: 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 25, 2012 and from 9:30 a.m. until service time Saturday. ENTOMBMENT: Garland Brook Mausoleum. MEMORIALS: Hospice of South Central Indiana.
