Wilbert W. Nentrup of Clarkston, MI, a longtime resident of Columbus, Indiana, passed away September 25, 2011, at 89 years of age. Wilbert was born May 7, 1922, to Edward and Mata (Mellenbrook) Nentrup, at Jonesville, IN. He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma, who died July 20, 1998. Survivors include his children, Rick (Patty) Nentrup of Tucson, AZ, Randall (Ellen) Nentrup of North Carolina, and Tonya (Steve) Ratliff of Clarkston; a sister, Anita Taylor; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Mr. Nentrup worked for Public Service Indiana for 38 years. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Columbus, Indiana. Previous services were held in Clarkston, MI, at the Coats Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to Odyssey Hospice. Private condolences may be sent to the family at www.CoatsFuneralHome.com/Obituaries. SERVICES: FUNERAL: 11 a.m. Thursday with Pastor John Armstrong officiating. VISITATION: Thursday, Sept 29 from 9-11 a.m. at the Jewell Rittman Family Funeral Home. Burial Will be at the Garland Brook Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by the Bartholomew County Veterans Color Guard.
