Wildena L. Dean Havron, 71, of Seymour died at 6:15 p.m. Wednesday, May 6, 2009, at University Hospital in Indianapolis.
Mrs. Havron was of the Lutheran faith and loved to cook, volunteer and care for others. She was instrumental in implementing the cafeteria at Whitecreek Lutheran Church.
She was a member of the VFW and American Legion auxiliaries, both of Seymour.
The most important thing in her life was her family.
Born in Hamilton, Ohio, Oct. 15, 1937, Mrs. Havron was the daughter of Jake and Minnie Gill Maggard. She married John L. Havron in 1954.
Survivors include her husband; sons, Charles D. (Debbie) Havron of Seymour and Donald W. Havron of Seymour; a daughter, Cheri Havron Fox of Columbus; a brother, Lee (Linda) Maggard of Kentucky; sisters, Martha Beth Ridgley of Bean Blossom and Shirley (Steve) Sawyer of Greenwood; grandchildren, Chris Havron of Seymour, Jessica (Steve) Ruble of Columbus and Jonnie B. Fox of Columbus; and a great-granddaughter, Nola Ruble.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, William and Robert Maggard; and sisters, Norma Elam and Zella Iky Dunn.
Funeral Information
FUNERAL: 1 p.m. Monday at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Pastor Ralph Blomenberg officiating.
VISITATION: 10 a.m. until service time Monday.
BURIAL: Garland Brook Cemetery.
