Willam E. "Bill" Satterfield

William E. “Bill” Satterfield, 61, of Hartsville, passed away at 10:04 p.m. at the Columbus Regional Hospital. Bill was born April 8, 1957 in Indianapolis to Alger E. Satterfield and Shirley Johnson Satterfield. He married Terri Ann Eudy on August 21, 1987. Bill graduated from Greensburg High School in 1975 and attended Lincoln Tech. He retired from Cummins Engine Company with over 30 years of service. He enjoyed building and showing custom street rods. The funeral will be conducted graveside at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Garland Brook Cemetery, section 90. There will be no visitation times. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Bartholomew County Humane Society. Bill is survived by his father, Alger Satterfield; daughters, Lindsay (Jerad Stillabower) Boyer of Hope, Leah (Ryun Carr) Boyer of Hartsville; sisters, Deborah Satterfield of Columbus, Ellen Satterfield of Bargersville; mother-in-law, Ruth Ann Eudy of Columbus and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife, Terri Ann Satterfield on May 8, 2018; mother, Shirley Satterfield; son, Michael Shane Satterfield and a sister, Constance Ackeret.
