SERVICES: 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home. VISITATION: 4:00 TO 8:00 P.M. Monday, May 11, 2015 at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. MASONIC SERVICE: A masonic memorial service at 7:30 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home. OFFICIATING: Cleon Wright FINAL RESTING PLACE: Flat Rock Baptist Cemetery. William David Daniel, 61, of Scipio, died at 12:30 a.m. Friday, May 8, 2015, at his home. Dave was born February 16, 1954, in Terre Haute, the son of William Donald and Dorothy Louise Sullivan Daniel. He married Brenda D. Miller November 11, 1979. Dave graduated from Columbus High School in 1972, attended Vincennes University and received an associates degree from Indiana University. He was currently an engineering journeyman at Cummins Engine Company where was employed for the past 26 years. Dave was a member of Greenwood Masonic Lodge No. 514. He was an avid IU and Indianapolis Colts fan and spent time hunting, fishing and enjoying the outdoors. He was an animal lover and especially loved his faithful lab Diggers. Dave had enjoyed coaching his children's Little League at Geneva Township and soccer teams. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include his mother, Dorothy Louise (Sullivan) Daniel-Stuby, and her husband, Guy Stuby, both of Franklin; son, William Dace Daniel of Scipio; daughters, Devon Olea Daniel of North Vernon, Darci Lynne (Michael) Hughes of Indianapolis, Daylee Miller Daniel of North Vernon, Deanna Marie Daniel of Scipio and Dacia Carol Jean Daniel of Scipio; brother, Douglas (Kelly) Daniel of Greenwood; sisters, Diana (John) Larowe of Phoenix and Deena (Tony) Fisher of Columbus; an "adopted" brother, Jack Lowe of Greenwood; and grandchildren, Laela Dawn Daniel, Lilly Cecilia Daniel and Ava Mae Burns. He was preceded in death by his his wife, Brenda; and his father, William Don.






Thinking of all of you during this sad time. Dave was a great son, husband, father and friend. He will be dearly missed.

So very sorry for the Daniel family’s loss. Dave was always the fun guy to hang with growing up in Taylorsville.
